Dr. Suji Bhatia has been dedicated to the advancement and practice of orthodontics for over thirteen years. Dr. Bhatia obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Nebraska. She has dual specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics and received her specialty degree in Orthodontics in 1990 from Louisiana State University. Before entering private practice in 1994, Dr. Bhatia taught graduate orthodontics at the Health Science Center in Oklahoma City and was the Director of Orthodontic Education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She has to her name several orthodontic related publications in nationally recognized orthodontic journals.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by age 7. An early screening helps Dr. Bhatia to determine if orthodontic treatment is required and the best time to begin interceptive or preventative treatment. Her dual specialty in both Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry enables and equips her to diagnose the need for timely interception and the most age appropriate ways to address a facial growth related issue.
